Adrian received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia and has practiced intellectual property law his entire career. He is a registered patent and trademark agent in Canada and is authorized to represent Canadian applicants before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
He is experienced in preparing and prosecuting patent applications directed to biological, chemical, and mechanical inventions. Adrian also manages international trademark portfolios for Canadian clients and Canadian trademark portfolios for international clients. His clients include individuals, universities, and companies in a variety of industries including biotechnology, clothing, consumer products, food and beverage, green technology, and mechanical engineering. Several of the individuals that Adrian represented in the past have gone on to form successful
companies that are current clients.
Prior to practicing law Adrian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Molecular and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary and worked for several years in medical research.
